I’m officially a grifballer!

Ever since the Grifball double EXP weekend in Halo 3 matchmaking ended a couple weeks ago, I’ve been jonesing to play the game again. I would say honestly if you play the game of Grifball you’re either going to really love it or absolutely hate it. I really love it…a lot.
Tonight I had the opportunity to try out for a position on a Grifball team which will be participating in the Grifball Spring League. I’m thrilled to announce that I made the team! I’m overjoyed. I know that’s silly. It’s just a game afterall, but it’s Grifball, the most addictive game I’ve played in a very long time. I will likely be playing the position of Tank, which is basically the guy who swings a very large hammer, clearing a path to the goal. Our first game is tomorrow night.
The team by the way is called The Hard Liquor Chasers (or Team HLC). I didn’t make that up, however considering my younger days and the amount of liquor I consumed, it’s a pretty fitting team for me. Each week I’ll post our stats, which hopefully will be the results of victories. Even if they aren’t, it’s still going to be a ton of fun.

Thats pretty cool, i have to admit i liked Griffball even if with my UK connection i always seem to struggle in a hammer or swords game.
Saying that, i did get my one and only Killamanjaro in griffball!
Good luck with the league
Thanks, man! Grifball rocks. I ended up with something like 13 killamanjaros and even a couple killionaires when they had it in the playlist for that weekend. I’ve never had so much fun playing Halo..lol
