Halo3 - Bungie reveals another of the new Legendary maps
Just recently Halo unveiled another of the three new maps that will be released on April 15th in the XBOX Live marketplace as the Legendary Map Pack. If you remember and love the popular map known as Lockout in Halo 2, you’ll probaby enjoy this new one for Halo 3 named Blackout, which Bungie is describing as a remake of Lockout.
“The toughest part of making it was trying to be as faithful to the original as possible while also accommodating the inherent gameplay changes between Halo 2 and 3.”
The Legenady Map Pack will sell for 800 Microsoft points. Check out the article over on Bungie to read an interview with the map’s designers and artists.
Also don’t forget that the previous released maps, the Heroic Map Pack are now totally free and available in the XBOX Live marketplace.
Hmm…the last map pack cost 400 points for me, but now its 800….I hope this is the best map pack deal ever….But im mostly looking forward for swat on the lockout style (halo 2) level. Fun fun fun!
You got it for 400? Lucky you..lol. I paid 800 points for it. Of course now it’s free actually as of two days ago.
Hopefully SWAT will return again soon to matchmaking. It was fun while it lasted. Fortunately I saved the SWAT game type to my XBOX after playing it, so I can still play it in custom games regardless of whether Bungie adds it again to matchmaking or not
