Halo3 - No Scoping Montage
Pretty cool montage of mostly no scope kills in Halo 3 matchmaking. You’ll also see some very nice sticks as well.

With the release of the new Legendary Map Pack, Bungie has decided to name the latest Double EXP weekend, Legendary Brawl. The playlist is live now and will last throughout the weekend. Unlike previous Double EXP weekends, this playlist is ranked. You will be required to have not only the new Legendary maps, but also the Heroic maps. The Heroic maps are now free, but the Legendary maps will cost you 800 Microsoft points. Each are available on XBOX Live in the marketplace.
If you’re unfamiliar with Double EXP weekends, they are just simply special playlists which Bungie adds to Halo 3 matchmaking for a few days. Sometimes it’s Grifball, sometimes Team SWAT, Infection and so on. Each win earns you double EXP.
Speaking of Team SWAT, in case you hadn’t heard, beginning in May, Team SWAT will officially become a permanent fixture in Halo3 matchmaking. The playlist will be ranked and located under “Hardcore” along with the MLG playlist. I can hardly wait!
Either this guy has amazing aim or is just really lucky. I’m going with lucky.
Here’s a look at a bit of game play on Ghost Town, one of the three new Legendary Maps. It’s definitely my favorite of the three.
Last night my Team HLC teammates and I played our seventh and eighth games of the Grifball Spring season. I’m happy to report that we won both games quite easily, which means we still sit atop our division. One other team, Dropping Bombs, has the same record as us but we’ve scored more goals. We play them again next week, so that game will most likely decide which team wins the division. It will likely also be the game which decides our playoff fate.
TheHolmCross has now scored 33 goals in the seven games he’s played. I was hoping we’d have two shutouts last night and get him at least 6 scores in each game, but he did end up with 10 scores for the night. Not bad at all. I haven’t checked individual player stats, but I’m guessing he’s got to be in at least the top 25 of trick runners. Maybe even in the top 10.

Somehow last night I managed to have the exact same number of kills and deaths in both games. I don’t think I’ve ever done that before in two consecutive Grifball games. My teammates Dragon of Exile and n0ns70p were pretty much a two man wrecking crew, so I spent a little more time hanging back and keeping an eye on our goal. That turned out to be a pretty simple job, since neither team last night managed to hold onto the ball for very long.

Here’s a look at our stats from last night. Two more games to go!
